Office hours
The administration office is open from Monday to Friday.

Refreshments
Drinks and snacks are available in the café.

Dogs
Dogs on a leash are permitted in the castle courtyard and gardens.
A water bowl for the four-legged friends is available at the ticket office.
Dogs are not allowed in the museum rooms.

Please be sure to book your visit as a group or school class in advance so that we can check for capacity.

The admission prices for groups are valid for a one-off payment of the total amount, on presentation of all valid discount passes.

Audio guides are available for the exhibition in the counts’ hall and knigths’ hall buildings. Explore Kyburg Castle as a historical monument and castle museum with the “guided tour in your ear”.

People with mobility impairments may be driven to the inner courtyard of the castle by appointment. The vehicle must then be parked in the public car park in front of the entrance to the village. A person with mobility impairments travelling alone may leave their vehicle in the inner courtyard during their visit to the castle.

Due to the many stairs, the castle is only partially accessible for people with mobility impairments.

Wheelchair users have access to the chapel with mural paintings from the 15th century, the rooms on the ground floor with the amusing short films on the history of the castle, the café as well as the disabled toilet and the ticket office with shop.

Guide dogs
Guide dogs are allowed in the museum rooms.
